Pep Guardiola hails 'outstanding' Manchester City after Carabao Cup final win at Wembley
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola described his side's second-half performance as 'outstanding' after seeing them thrash Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final.
City led through a Sergio Aguero strike at the break, before Vincent Kompany and David Silva sealed Guardiola's first piece of silverware in English football.
Guardiola stayed down on the pitch rather than joining his players to lift the trophy in Wembley's royal box, but explained simply: 'It's nicer to see it from here.'

'The first half today was not good, a lot of mistakes in the simple passes. The second half we played with more personality and we were outstanding.'
