Lionel Messi sends Chelsea boss Antonio Conte special message after Barcelona win

Lionel Messi has sent a special message to Antonio Conte.

Messi scored a brace to knock Chelsea out of the Champions League and book Barcelona’splace in the quarter-finals.

After the match Conte hailed the influence of the Argentine of whom his team were unable to contain.

The 30-year-old has since responded to the praise and moved to thank the Blues manager, whose job is now under mounting pressure because it is unlikely they will be playing Champions League football next season.

"I didn't hear him, but they told me what he said and I thank him for his words," Messi said.
