Manchester United beat Liverpool and Chelsea to signing of teenage Slovakian midfielder Martin Svidersky

The 15-year-old, who has also had trial spells with Celtic, Manchester City and West Ham, has agreed a three year deal until 2021.

Svidersky is fluent in English and had been playing youth football for Presov. The technically adept midfielder joins another Slovakian on United's books, 18-year-old goalkeeper Alex Fojticek.

Meanwhile, United's U16s are taking part in the Singapore Academies 7s tournament in Padang this week.

They are due to face Valencia, Fulham, Urawa Reds and Liverpool on Saturday then JSSL FC, Perth Glory and Bangkok United on Sunday.
