And that has led to interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their outlandish transfer claims, say Spurs want £152m (€175m) for their star man.
But Real are keen to lower that price by offering Tottenham Gareth Bale in a huge swap deal.
Los Blancos are ready to let the Wales ace leave due to a lack of form and another injury-plagued campaign.
